Evolution of twist - 3 fragmentation functions in multicolour QCD and the Gribov - Lipatov reciprocity
It is shown that twist-3 fragmentation functions in the large-N c limit of QCD obey the DGLAP evolution equations. The anomalous dimensions are found explicitly. The Gribov-Lipatov reciprocity is violated at the twist-3 level in the leading logarithmic approximation.
متن کاملNonperturbative contribution to the Dokshitzer-Gribov-Lipatov-Altarelli-Parisi and Gribov-Levin-Ryskin equation
By studying the nonperturbative contribution to the Dokshitzer-Gribov-LipatovAltarelli-Parisi and Gribov-Levin-Ryskin equation, it is found that (i) the nonperturbative contribution suppresses the evolution rate at the low Q2, small-x region; (ii) the nonperturbative contribution weakens the shadowing effect. The method in this paper suggests a smooth transition from the low Q2 (”soft” ), where...
متن کاملDokshitzer-Gribov-Lipatov-Altarelli-Parisi Evolution and the Renormalization Group Improved Yennie-Frautschi-Suura Theory in QCD§
We show that the recently derived renormalization group improved YennieFrautschi-Suura (YFS) exponentiation of soft (ko → 0) gluons in QCD is fully compatible with the usual Dokshitzer-Gribov-Lipatov-Altarelli-Parisi (DGLAP) evolution of the structure functions of hadrons in the respective hadron-hadron hard interactions. We show how to implement the YFS exponentiation without double or over co...
متن کاملElectroweak Double-logs at Small X
We investigate enhanced EW corrections to inclusive hard processes in the TeV energy region with emphasis on the small-x situation, in which the hard scale Q is significantly smaller than the available energy √ s ≡ Q/x. We first propose and justify a general factorization formula in which the (double-log) EW form factor at scale Q is factorized from EW parton distribution functions, which satis...
متن کاملDouble Helix: Reciprocity between juvenile play and brain development
This review summarizes what is presently known about the function, sexual differentiation, and neural circuitry of juvenile rough-and-tumble play. Juvenile rough-and-tumble play is a unique motivated behavior that is widespread throughout the mammalian order and usually occurs more often in males. Immediate early gene studies indicate that cortical and subcortical circuits, many of which are se...
